Hi!
My name is Glenn, and I graduated from Knox in 1992. While at Knox, I worked in the Archives and Special Collections and was infected with the bug of learning about the history of my college.
After graduating, I started purchasing materials that were being sold on the open market that related to Knox. After 10 years or so, my “shrine” (as my wife calls it) was so large that it needed it’s own bookshelf.
Now, after 20 years, I feel the need to share out some of the amazing materials I have collected. I have started scanning it and sharing it with the world. Some of these materials are “ho-hum” some are AMAZING. All are shared in PDF format for the world to read.

This is really wonderful, Glenn — thank you so much for sharing it!
I am interested in finding out more about the 1963-1967 restrictions at the Women’s Dorms regarding hours, signing in and out in the evenings, punishments for breaking rules, etc. I am a 1967 Knox grad and lived in the “Experimental Dorm” for senior women at Anderson House 1966-1967. I believe, but would like verified, that after that successful “experiment,” hours for women were abolished.
I have a Roseville pottery Green Hyde Park Line #1961 ashtray with a metal Knox College insert. Wondering if this would fall under tobacciana items?
Glen. I have a small University of Texas cloth that I had no idea what it was. I’ve come across a few articles on line that indicate it may be Tobacco Flag. I found your article from a few years ago very interesting. I was wondering if I could get a contact number where I can text you a picture of the item. I thought perhaps you could help me out.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Joe Owens
